You can maintain a library of clauses which your users can include in Will their documents.
There are two methods to add clauses:
- in customise mode, or
- via the New Paragraph dialogue box.
You can utilise whichever method you feel comfortable with. If you are using the latter method to enter paragraphs we suggest using Customise Mode, if you want to add a paragraph to a document you are currently working on and also save it for latter use the New Paragraph method.
Adding a paragraph through Customise Mode
To add a new paragraph you can click on the 'Customisations' binder at the top left. You will now be in the customisation screen.
Select 'Will Clause Library' tab to the left of the customisation screen.
Click in the icon in the 'Will Clause Library' section and you will be presented with the 'Custom Paragraph' section where you create the paragraph.
To add your paragraph enter the content in the paragraph text box, select the indent level and press 'OK'.
Once your paragraph is added you will see it appear in the list of Additional paragraphs on the 'Will Clause' tab.
Adding a paragraph via the New Paragraph window.
To add paragraphs from either the current or existing documents to the paragraph library you right click the document panel and select [edit icon] option.
This will bring up the 'New Paragraph' window where you can enter the new paragraph and indent levels.
Once you click the 'Add to Custom Library' button the 'Add Clause to Library' window will appear were you can enter a description so you can identify the paragraph latter.
Click the OK button to to add the paragraph and OK again to confirm addition.
If you wan to check the paragraph has been added to the library, click the [customise] button on top of left panel and select the Will Clause Library tab. You should see your new paragraph in the list.
